The Brothers Karamazov Read Along

Today marks the beginning of The Brothers Karamazov Read Along hosted by Dolce Bellezza. For the entire month of April we will be reading this much lauded novel and posting reviews. The book is divided into four parts, so basically we will read one part a week.

Part 1: April 8, 2010
Part 2: April 15, 2010
Part 3: April 22, 2010
Part 4: April 29, 2010

Thanks, Stacy! I have to admit that I was reluctant to join in on the read along, but figured that maybe this was the push I needed to finally tackle a Dostoevsky novel. So far, its a very interesting read.

So excited that you are reading too. Have you seen the participant list? Hats off to Bellezza for persuading so many of us to take the plunge. I have really settled into it now after finding the prose a bit meandering at first. Or maybe I was just sleepy? Happy reading!

Frances, I'm so glad you are reading this book, too! I just checked out the participant list and Wow! - Bellezza did a great job of getting so many people to join in. I know what you mean about settling into the book - I wasn't sure what to expect from it and now I am really enjoying the way the narration is set up. Can't wait to read what everyone thinks of it!
