Upcoming Reads...

Thank you, NetGalley and publishers for these two lovelies:

I can't wait to read both.  I love Auster - his writing is sharp, intelligent, and so inventive.  As for Buntin, this is her debut novel and I've heard nothing but great things about it.  Two must-reads at my fingertips - talk about a bookworm's bliss!

Nice! I'm hearing that the Auster might make a good book club choice. I'm always pushing my book club to read really well written books, not just good discussion books (which are easy enough to find but not always well written).

Lisa, from what I've heard about it, I could definitely see it being a good book club choice. And I agree with you, well written books are hard to find, not good discussion books. Auster would be a great choice for your book club :)

I have 4321 to read as well. It will be interesting to compare our two reviews.

Love me some Paul Auster.

Never read Auster but I remember he was on our uni reading list many years ago. Funny how you remember authors you haven't read!

Ti, yes! Auster is so good.

Nicola, check out Auster - you will enjoy it so much :) And, I know what you mean - I do the same, too.

I read Austen's memoir, Winter Journey, a few years ago, I would like to read some of his fiction one of these days

I love NetGalley! I downloaded Elizabeth Kostova's new book The Shadow Land. It has a good eerie feeling so far, and I'm so thankful for being able to read this one. I loved The Historian, wasn't as in love with Swan Song, so am ready for a good atmosphere again with this one!
