My Friday Five...

1.  Grimm.  Tonight is the series finale and I just know that I'm going to cry.  I'm so sad to see this awesome show end.  I was hoping that Netflix or Hulu would pick them up, but after last week's ep...that's not going to happen. Wu and Hank - OMG, my heart broke!  I have no idea what's going to happen in the final ep, except that Nick is most definitely going to kick ass and I can't wait to watch.  I think there is going to be a flash forward, which I hope will show Monroe and Rosalee as parents - fingers crossed!  All I know, is that I'm definitely going to miss watching it. RIP Grimm.

2. It the movie comes out September 8th.  A remake that looks creeptastic! I can't wait to see It.

3.  Books.  I can't seem to stick with my plan of reading my own damn books.  There are just too many begging to be bought.  Here are the ones I bought this week (the cookbook is a pre-order):

 4.  Music.  I am loving the music being played on the show Big Little Lies.  I keep listening to it on Spotify.  It is seriously the BEST!!  Martha Wainwright. Alabama Shakes.  Leon Bridges. Michael Kiwanuka.  Those are some of the artists on the soundtrack that I can't wait to get my hands on.

5.  TWD.  Sunday is the season finale.  The cast claim it will make you happy and sad.  Andy Lincoln claims he did a jig when he read the script.  I just hope that something finally happens. This season has been really slow-going, which I can sort of understand considering what Negan did to Glenn.  And its only been a few weeks since it happened - I swear time on the show seems to stand still.  So, I get that people need to mourn, but Negan is a serious threat and Rick can't afford to mourn.  I'm glad he finally realized that fact and is set on taking down Negan.  Now, I just have to wait and see what happens come Sunday night.

And now, I'm off to pick something new to read. Not sure what I'm in the mood for...Olive Kitteridge...The Nix...My Man Jeeves...hmm...too many choices.  What do you recommend?

Happy reading!!

I need to watch Big Little Lies. It sounds like it's a hit!

I am SO excited to see IT!!! I can not wait!

I'm with ya on the books. I have so many to read and then I get distracted by random books. And my moodiness doesn't help!
