my thoughts:

YA thrillers are where its at! I just LOVED Gabriella Lepore's novel, This Is Why We Lie - it was fantastic! 

Jenna and Adam are both at the beach when a dead body is discovered. She's taking photographs and he's yelling for help when he discovers the dead body. The victim turns out to be one of Jenna's classmates. Soon her best friend, Hollie, is the prime suspect in the murder.  Determined to prove her BFF's innocence, Jenna begins to investigate the murder on her own, and her suspicions lead her to Adam's friend, Max. Only, Adam is certain that Max is innocent. So, who's guilty? Will Jenna and Adam be able to help clear their friend's names? And, what will happen once all the dark secret everyone was keeping finally get revealed? Talk about DRAMA!!

Lepore has written a terrific YA novel that will hook you from the start and have you guessing left and right at whodunit. I just loved getting lost in this book and trying to piece together who was guilty of what. Such a fun read!

I would happily recommend This Is Why We Lie to anyone and everyone looking for their next great read - you will LOVE this book to bits!!
