Brunette Ambition by Lea Michele

I'm a huge fan of Lea Michele and could not wait to dive into her book, Brunette Ambition (as a fellow brunette, I just LOVED the title).  Filled with photos; tips on beauty, fashion, eating right and exercise; and personal stories about her journey on becoming an actress and singer - this book was a treat to read.  We get tidbits about life on Broadway (Spring Awakening, Les Miserables, etc.) and Glee (Rachel Berry!), along with mention of her album, Louder (which I LOVE!!).  Michele talks about the importance of family and friendships - how much they mean to her and the integral part they played in helping her to achieve success.  She's open and honest about her ambitious drive and her love of the title, diva.  This book is a terrific way to get to know more about her and the way she lives her life - surrounded by close friends and family all the while working her way to the top.  I would definitely recommend this book to fans of Lea Michele.  And, I would most definitely recommend her album, Louder - it is fantastic!

Here's the video(YouTube) for one of my favorite songs on her album, Louder: Cannonball
and, here's the video(YouTube) of one of my other favorite songs: On My Way
Enjoy!  I'm off to continue reading Stephen King's latest, Mr. Mercedes. I am taking my time with that book and loving every minute of it!  Happy reading!!
