Currently Reading...

Yep, I snagged a copy of the new Ann Patchett (release date 9/13/16) and I am over the moon.  I actually whooped for joy when I got it - that is how excited I am.  Especially, as I had just read a story about Patchett in Big Magic (the book I was currently reading, but just finished today), which made me realize that I really need to read more of her writing ASAP.  I fell in love with her writing a few years ago and have slowly been making my way through her catalog of work.  Lo and behold, I was gifted with her latest work today.  How awesome is that?!  I think it must be fate.  And now, I'm off to begin reading Commonwealth - hurrah!!

Cannot wait to hear what you think of it!

Given a copy, yes, it must be fate so you can read her newest book. I especially like the memoir by Patchen about her deep friendship with an unusual lady who had serious problems. Now what was that title? Senior moment.

Ooh a new Ann Patchett! I loved Bel Canto and her memoir Truth and Beauty.

So many new novels to look forward to this year from Anne Tyler, Curtis Sittenfeld, Annie Proulx, Louise Erdrich and now Ann Patchett.
