my thoughts:

Travel guidebooks are awesome!! Especially these two by National Geographic: Guide to Scenic Highways & Byways and Guide to State Parks of the United States.  Chock full of fantastic photographs, informative maps, and useful tips - these books are the perfect addition to your guidebook collection.  Plus, they make a great companion to planner addicts getting ready to plan out their summer vacations.  You will just love flipping through these terrific tomes and reading all about the beautiful state parks right here in the US and trying to figure out which one to visit first (or crossing off the one's you've already visited, because state parks rock!).  Oh, and plotting out which route to take so that you don't miss out on any jaw-dropping sights during your road trips - its just so much fun!  I absolutely LOVED these books!!

I would happily recommend these two guidebooks to anyone and everyone - you will LOVE them both so much!
