I was afraid this would be like Hillbilly Elegy (which I did NOT like), but it wasn’t. This was a fascinating novel to me, written by a brave woman who was clearly smarter than I will ever be, and I went through all sorts of public education. ;) I hope you like it as I did.

M, I didn't read that one, but heard so many great things about it. I'm glad I didn't read it :) I'm with you, this one was such a great read. I absolutely LOVED it. And I know what you mean, she is smarter than I am and so brave, too. She amazed me.
