Beyond the Headlines by R. G. Belsky is the fourth book in his popular Clare Carlson series, and it can be read as a standalone novel (thankfully!). Chock full of twists and turns, 70s history, secrets and reveals, family drama, murder and so much more - this book has it all! I found myself captivated right from the start and would not put the book down for anything! I had to find out what really happened to Bateman's husband and what information Carlson's deep dive into Bateman's history would dig up - talk about being riveted. OMG!

Belsky's writing is great! You can't help but get caught up in the chaotic lives of his characters and find yourself questioning their motives along the way. And the story lines - so much DRAMA! Beyond The Headlines makes for such an entertaining and thrilling read. I loved every second I spent with this book!

I would happily recommend Beyond The Headlines to fans of Belsky and to anyone looking for their next great read - check it out!
