To dutiful vows!
When heiress Paulina Despradel is banished from the family quinta in a storm, she seeks shelter with her dashing new neighbor, Sebastian Linares. Their attraction may be as electrifying as the lightning outside, but the night they spend together is totally innocent. Barely more than strangers, they must now marry. my thoughts:
Wow! What a terrific story! Compromised into a Scandalous Marriage by Lydia San Andres is chock full of romance, drama, and a beautiful historical setting. Talk about a must-read!
Paulina and Sebastian - what a dynamic couple! Forced into marriage by her horrible brother, Antonio, the couple must navigate the ins and outs of their new life together. Convinced that Paulina played a part in their ruse of a marriage, Sebastian keeps to himself and focuses on work. Paulina tries to make her new home into a home for them both. However, sparks fly between the two and soon their relationship begins to slowly evolve. Of course, Antonio is not happy unless he is making their lives miserable and trying to weasel money out of Sebastian. It's just horrible the lengths he will go to to ruin their lives. Talk about family misfortune.
Lydia San Andres has written a gripping story that will keep you reading late into the night - you won't be able to sleep until you find out what happens to Paulina and Sebastian. The story is just so damn good. I loved the writing, the characters, and everything about this book. What a treat to read! I would happily recommend Compromised into a Scandalous Marriage to anyone and everyone looking for their next great read - you won't want to miss out on this one! Check it out!
