Love, love, love! The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna is a delightful and engaging story that I gobbled up on a rainy summer day. It was chock full of magic, witches, romance, and England -what more could I ask for? 

Mandanna has written a whimsical story about a witch named Mika who has been hiding her magic for quite some time. She just keeps her head down and tries to live a quiet life. Of course, she does have a social media presence, and well, she can't help but showcase her magical talents on video. She does it all under the pretense that it's fake - she figures that way no one will actually believe she is a real witch. Unfortunately for Mika someone does believe she is a real witch and they need her help. Turns out there are three young witches who need magical tutoring and Mika is just the one for the job. So, of course she heads off to Nowhere House to meet these young witches. Once there she finds herself enmeshed in a  new town, making new friends, and possibly finding romance. Oh, and embracing her magical abilities as she teaches these young witches about magic. But, life can't be crushes and spells...nope, turns out that danger is right on Mika's new doorstep. Yikes!

The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches is such a fun story! I loved it to bits! I would happily recommend it to anyone and everyone looking for their next great read - check it out!
