Rabbit, rabbit...a new month is here - hurrah! Fall is just around the corner and that means we are going to be even more inundated with Halloween decor and movies. Oh, and all things pumpkin-flavored are coming out of the woodwork as I type this. Plus, planner season is ramping up its push for pre-orders on 2026 planners. And, I'm not sure how I feel about all of this. Hmm...
I don't want to rush the seasons or the holidays, so I'm just going to go at my own pace. I want to be more present and actually enjoy what is right in front of me, instead of worry about what's next. So, I'm going to keep on reading and writing it all out. Or at least, that's the plan.
After reading Toews' latest book, I needed something light. So I chose this:
I really enjoyed the first two in the series and had this one since it came out a couple of years ago, but I never got around to reading it. And, I wanted something set in England, especially after watching The Thursday Murders Club film on Netflix. By the way, I loved the movie, but have to admit there were some changes from the book that I wasn't keen on. Although I cracked up when Doctor Who showed up on screen - I had no clue Tennant was in the film. Anyhow, I'm reading the Griffiths book and enjoying it so far. I bought the fourth one in the series last month. So, my reading is sorted for the time being. As for what I'm watching, I'm making my way through A Different World - a rewatch of sorts. And, I'll be watching the second half of season 2 of Wednesday later this week. I'm trying to keep it fun and light - no more toxic TV shows for me. Adios, Bravo TV!
Alright, well, I'm off to make a coffee and get some writing done. Wishing you all a lovely week. Oh, and isn't cool when the first day of the month falls on a Monday? I always think it's neat when it happens. Happy reading!

Happy Monday! I've been working on being more mindful and present, too, hoping it'll help lessen my stress and help me enjoy life more. We're always works in progress, aren't we? I hope you enjoy your Labor Day. :D
