Monday Musings...

Hiya! I'm slowly easing myself back into blogging.  Life fatigue has set in and I am exhausted, so I took a break from blogging and reading and writing. I'm still tired, but I'm pushing myself to try, so I'm back. BTW, I borrowed the phrase 'life fatigue' from a friend - I had never heard of it, but I felt it when she mentioned it.

It took me a month to finish the Elly Griffiths book, The Last Word - the fourth in the Harbinder series. It was slow-going, well, they usually are, but this one definitely took me awhile to get into. Of course, I loved it in the end. I'm also still reading Notes To Self by Emilie Pine, which I started last month. The section I just read had me crying. So, suffice it to say I was thrilled with 'past me' for pre-ordering the new Hercule Poirot by Sophie Hannah, The Last Death Of The Year. I had forgotten about the book until it arrived in my mail - hurrah! I started reading it straightaway. I love these books by Hannah - they are always such fun to read.

As for tv shows and movies, I've been watching Christmas films on Hallmark. I binged the remaining Only Murders in the Building episodes and also binged the new season of Nobody Wants This. I enjoyed the former, but found the latter disappointing.

I'm still journaling every day and I think it's helping me. So, I'll keep writing it out. I finished the daily doodle challenge in October and started a new one for November. I am really enjoying doodling and using up stickers and stamps for the project. It adds a bit of lightness to my day, which I need.

And now, I'm off to figure out what to tackle first on my to-do list. Wishing you all a lovely week. Happy reading!
