Good morning! Here's to a lovely Monday for us all!
I'm slowly making my way through the new Patti Smith and loving it. Her writing always lures me in and keeps me turning pages. I just love her work. She's a favorite. And she's making me want to write more, which I am loving.
I went to TJ Maxx and Michael's and bought a few things. Notebooks that were priced at $4-$7 that I've seen priced at $60 on Amazon. So, definitely a win! And, a few cute stickers and paper ephemera for Christmas. I love decorating my notebooks for the holiday season. Especially, because I always wind up doing a Christmas junk journal.
My grief is still strong so I don't plan on celebrating the holidays this year. No turkey to prep or pecan pies to bake. I have no interest in celebrating, so I'm not going to. Except my sister keeps telling me she is and she wants my advice on all things Thanksgiving. I'm the one who usually makes the whole meal, so she's relying on me to help her. We don't live in the same area anymore, so she expects me to FaceTime her. It seems I can't escape Thanksgiving.
Tracker was so good! I'm hoping we get more information about his dad, how much his mom knew, and what Russell is keeping from him - I suspect he knows more than he's told Colter. Also, what is Reenie hiding and when is the new hire going to try to get Colter to find her mother's killer? So much to unpack in the season to come - hurrah!
And now, I'm off to organize my desk, because it is a hot mess.
Happy reading!
