1. I'm exhausted. This week has rushed by and dragged by at the same time - daylight savings time is wreaking havoc on my moods. Ack!
2. Reading is back on track - hurrah! I'm enjoying the new Patti Smith book, Bread of Angels. I dip in and out of in the early mornings - 3am thanks to the time change - and am savoring it all. It's a memoir and it is excellent.
3. I bought the new Zadie Smith book of essays and I'm excited to dive into that one soon.
4. I didn't like the new Sophie Hannah/Agatha Christie book, The Last Death Of The Year. It's a Hercule Poirot story and normally I enjoy Hannah's take on Poirot. However, this time round, I didn't care for the murder mystery, the reveal, the characters, or any of it. The book fell flat and just didn't have the usual charm. Hopefully next time the story will captivate.
5. I'm watching Succession and it's interesting and not interesting at the same time. I'm not sure I see what all the fuss was about. I'm also still watching Hallmark Christmas films - some of the new ones have been fun to watch. I'm thinking of just rewatching The X-Files again since nothing on TV is grabbing my attention. Well, except for Tracker, which I am loving. I want more Russell. And, I love to see Randy and Reenie in the office together. I'm not sure about the new employee that Renee hired though - she's giving off suspicious vibes. Suffice it to say, I'm enjoying the new season of Tracker.
And now, I'm off to tackle to-dos and get ready for the weekend. Happy Friday and happy reading!

The time change makes everything harder. Could we please just pick one time and stick with it? And I'm happy Tracker is back, too. It's my favorite show. High Potential is the other TV series I'm really enjoying. :D
Agreed! Yay for Tracker :) It's my favorite, too! I've heard so much about High Potential - I need to check it out.
