Paris in July 2019

Bonjour!
https://thyme-for-tea.blogspot.com/

It is time for Paris in July and I am thrilled. I absolutely LOVE this challenge. And, thanks to Tamara for being the host with the most - Thyme for Tea.  I am so excited to get started. One month devoted to all things French - what more could I want, right? This challenge is so my jam.

Here's what I'm thinking of reading:

Of course, along the way I may change my mind - especially if I get inspired to read something else. As for films, I may re-watch a few of my favorites: Midnight in Paris, Le Divorce, and 2 Days in Paris. Let me know if you have any suggestions for books or film. Thanks!

If you want more information, check out Thyme for Tea - you will LOVE her blog and you may decide to sign up for Paris in July. Hope you are having a great week! Happy reading!!

Paris in July begins...NOW!

Yep, its that time again!  Thyme for Tea's annual Paris in July month long event is back.  Hurrah!  All things French all month long - how exciting is that!?!  I am super excited to join in on the fun.  I plan on reading some great books, listening to Tiersen (my go-to for French music), and finding some new-to-me films to watch.   And, I'll be indulging in some macarons as well.

Here are the books I plan on reading:

What do you think? Not a bad batch, eh?  Do you have any suggestions for me?  I'm excited for the Hemingway and the Laurain.  I'm also hoping to watch a movie or two.  And, I can't wait to read what everyone else posts about for  Paris in July.  Should be a fun month! If you want to join in, then head on over to Tamara's blog, Thyme for Tea, to get all the details.  Hope to see you there!  Au revoir!

Paris In July Reading Challenge!!

Paris in July? Sounds like a plan!  Thanks to Karen of BookBath and Tamara of Thyme for Tea, I will be immersed in all things Parisian come July - food, music, films and books.  I can't wait! I participated in this fun reading challenge last year and had a blast listening to Yann Tiersen and watching 2 Days in Paris. This year I plan to listen to more French music, read a few books (A Novel Bookstore, Lunch in Paris and possibly, My Life in France) and eat some yummy French food whilst watching a French film or two.

In case you are wondering what the rules are, here goes:

Paris in July will run from the 1st - 31st July 2011 and the aim of the month is to celebrate our French experiences through reading, watching, listening to, observing, cooking and eating all things French.

There will be no rules or targets in terms of how much you need to do or complete in order to be a part of Paris in July - just blog about anything French and you can join in.

Some ideas for the month might include:
- Reading a French book - fiction or non-fiction
- Watching a French movie
- Listening to French music
- Cooking French food
- Experiencing French art, architecture or travel (lucky Tamara!)
- Or anything else French inspired you can think of...

If you are interested in being a part of this experience leave a comment at BookBath or Thyme for Tea.  And just so you know, there will be weekly French themed prizes during the month.

Sign up now and grab one of the Paris in July buttons that Karen and Tamara have created to add to your blog!

Hope to see you in Paris this July!!
