Kreativ Blogger
Just wanted to say thanks to Ash over at English Major's Junk Food for awarding me the Kreativ Blogger award - Thanks, Ash! Check out her site when you get a chance -its such a great book blog! As a recipient of this award I have to list seven things about myself. So, here goes:
1. Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut is my favorite book.
2. I'm addicted to reality t.v. shows like, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Project Runway, Kell on Earth, Real Housewives, etc.
3. I went on the Sound of Music bus tour when I was visiting Salzburg.
4. I used to love going to the refectory at the cathedral in Exeter, England (where I studied for my MA) and ordering tea, a scone with clotted cream and jam; and just sitting there people watching.
5. I ate gelato every day I was in Italy and absolutely loved it!
6. Reading magazines like, Elle, O, and Latina are my vice.
7. I have visited 2 Dali museums (one in St. Petersburg, FL and one in London, England), but am aiming to visit the one in Spain - he is my favorite artist.
Alright, so those are seven random things about me. Now, for the bloggers I'd like to pass this award on to:
A Day In The Life Of
My Porch
Pen, Paper and Cake!
Those three sites are such fun blogs - filled with photos, recipes, book reviews and posts about life (like upcoming weddings, favorite singers, and so much more). Definitely worth checking out!
Hope everyone is having a fabulous Monday. I'll be back soon with a book post. Cheers!!

Your comment about gelato made me laugh. When I was in Italy I ate gelato every day three times a day, no joke. It was the best part of being there.
I really enjoy reality TV shows too. My faves are Project Runway (gotta love Tim), Biggest Loser (although this season is boring me), American Idol and I guess that's about it. It's enough though!
Hi Nadia! Just popping in because I haven't in a while to say your blog looks great and I'm enjoying your reviews! I skipped some of Her Fearful Symmetry because it's on my to be read list! Have a great week!
Hi Nadia, love the look and feel of your blog! Easy to read and tidy - I get overwhelmed by really busy blogs. I see that you have similar reading tastes to mine, so I'll be stopping by often. Congrats on your award!
Thanks Nadia. I love reality shows as well. I can't wait for the new season of Real Housewives of New York. And I am with Ash, I eat gelato many times during a typical day in Italy.
I visited the Dali museum in St. Petersburg and just loved it! Congratulations on your award!
Thank you so much for the award Nadia! We really appreciate it!!
I've been on that Sound of Music bus tour as well! :D
Congratulations on the award! I have only read Slaughterhouse-V; keeping an eye on Cat's Cradle, which has been quite widely read among the bloggers.
Ash - Gelato is delicious, isn't it! My best friend and I thought it was the highlight of our trip to Italy :)
Ti - I know! Its like you can't help but become addicted and then soon enough you are spending way too much time chatting with your friends about which designer you think will win or which housewife is the tackiest. Reality t.v. = time suckage!
Jo - Glad you popped by! Hope you like HFS as much as I did. Have a great week!!
2manybooks2littletime - Thanks! I've actually thought the same about your blog :) I guess great minds think alike!
Thomas - I know! The NYC housewives are my favorite ones. I really like Bethanny and can't stand Simon (I'm glad that this is Alex and Simon's last season).
Bermudaonion - Thanks! And don't you just love Dali! His artwork is spectacular! I loved the tarot cards he did ( I saw them at Dali Universe). My favorite painting is The Hallucinogenic Toreador.
Holli - Hiya, chica! Your site with Lizzi and Thauna is so much fun! I love to see the pics you all post.
Eva - That is such a fun tour! And the hostel we stayed at played The Sound of Music every night! Talk about too much of a good thing:)
Matt- Thanks! Definitely read Cat's Cradle when you get the chance - it is such a great read. I like how Vonnegut incorporated aspects of his life within the text and the story in general is just really good. Classic Vonnegut!
Thanks for the award Nadia!
I love your randomness!
