Paris In July starts...NOW!!!

Paris in July has begun and I am ready to start getting my French on.  I am going to watch Amelie tonight (haven't seen it in ages!) and listen to the soundtrack on repeat while I write.
As for what I'll be reading, I'm not really sure yet.  I have just purchased these two books:
However, I was thinking of starting with:
Then again, who knows what will pique my interest after watching Audrey Tautou tonight.  If you have any suggestions, please feel free to leave me a comment.  Au revoir!

I never finished The Dud Avocado. I meant to but it was a little different than what I thought it would be. She seemed more harsh to me than the write-up made her seem. I was told the main character was like Holly Golightly and I didn't get that at all from the book.

I need to rewarch Amelie, too! I remember it being quite charming. I read the book on objects you posted, but I don't think I cared for it terribly much. I have liked Bonjour, Tristesse by Francoise Sagan, Therese Racquin by Emile Zola and of course The Tale of Two Cities, but those are such serious classics. This year I have a few lighter things lined up, such as On the Rue Tatin and a book about Chanel No. 5. Talk about different extremes! Glad to be reading with you under any challenge!

Ti, thanks for that heads up, because I wast thinking Holly Golightly as well :)

Bellezza, I'm happy to be reading with you as well. The Chanel book sounds divine. And I know what you mean about different extremes :)
