I listened to a podcast on the way in that discussed An American Marriage. It sounds like a book that will really make you think. The interviewer compared it to the movie Castaway. What do you do when your husband is sent to prison? What a situation to be in!
Ti, this book is everywhere! I just saw the author on a morning show and she was talking about where she got the idea from - a couple arguing in the mall. How crazy! I've never seen Castaway, so I don't know about the comparison. I can't even imagine how someone could cope with that kind of situation. This book is definitely going to be a interesting read. I can't wait to dive in :)

I've had a copy of An American Marriage since Book Expo. Based on all of the fab reviews I'm seeing, I'm decided to squeeze it in this month.
