What fun romance! I just loved diving into Makenna Lee's latest novel, The Bookstore's Secret. It's the sixth book in the Home to Oak Hollow series and it is terrific!

Nicole is an aspiring pastry chef who has recently moved back to Oak Hollow with her nine-year-old daughter. She's applied for a position at a resort and is waiting to find out if she got the job or not. Meanwhile, she's working at the cafe at the local bookstore, which is run by Liam - her first crush! How crazy is that? Liam is a single dad with a teenaged son. The two soon find their friendship sparked anew, along with some romantic flames that can't help but ignite. However, the two are focused on their kids and Nicole is set on becoming the pastry chef at that resort, so will they let a romance blossom or will they ignore their growing attraction to one another? 

Lee has written a fun and engaging romance that will make you smile and laugh out loud. Such a sweet treat to read!

I would happily recommend The Bookstore's Secret to fans of the Home to Oak Hollow series and to anyone looking for a great new romance to fall in love with. Make sure to check it out!
